How to Make a New Cat Paradise with Simple and Easy DIY Projects

how to make a cat bed with wood, iron and easy instructions

A cat’s need to sleep is just like a human’s. Cats love to have their own space where they can indulge in their needs for rest and relaxation. A house with a cat will most likely already have a cat bed available for use, but if you do not, or would like to make your own, following the provided instructions will result in a very useful cat bed.
You will need:
Wood: 1 board measuring 31 by 3 by 3 inches, one board measuring 31 by 3 by 2 inches, one board measuring 28 by 2 by 2 inches and one board measuring 6 by 2 by 2 inches
Iron: One iron pipe to be cut into four equal portions. The pipe used must be able to fit lengthways into the larger sized wood (31 x 3 x 3 inch)
Nails: enough nails to accommodate the number of pieces of wood used for the bed.
Screw: One screw to be attached to the iron pipe
A drill, or a screw gun may be needed to affix the iron pipe to the board.

cat proofing my home from scratch – the perfect solution for keeping cats away from furniture

I had enough of the human race when they started interfering with my life, so I started resisting. I would take up residence in a nice recliner and purr loudly until they came over to me, whereupon I would glare at them with my most menacing pit-of-the-stomach stare and them, as usual, get scared away by the sight of me. Why my people are so afraid of cats, I’ll never understand. They’re all terrified of me, and that’s just fine with me!
But my time in the chair was about up. The humans were studying how to prevent cat groaning noises when sleeping, and it was one of their most difficult cases. It seems that no matter what they did, they couldn’t stop my constant meowing when I’d fall asleep in that particular chair. The whole family gathered around and brainstormed a few ideas; finally my people came up with “cat proofing”. In the morning, when I’d wake up, I’d make all sorts of an uproar— to my horror. They didn’t give up, though; they knew what they were doing!

Why you should install a garage door alarm that won’t wake up your neighbours or drive you mad

I have a garage that I can’t use because of safety concerns. I have been told by my neighbour that the loud beeping noise and flashing lights will wake up his wife in the apartment across the street, which is also an issue. He is also worried that I might be startled and fall down the stairs, so he has requested that I stay away from using my garage.
As I write this, I am about to explain why the beeping and buzzing noises of the garage door opener – that is, the product of a well-designed, fully-functional garage door alarm – utterly fail to upset or wake up your neighbours.
Consumer reports says that 90% of people in America cannot tell if their garage doors are open or closed. You really need a garage door alarm that will actually SAVE TIME and MONEY. Aesthetically, the warning and beeping noises are important too.
The alarm will beep and make a loud buzzing noise when you open and close the door. It can also be integrated into many home security systems to tell your family (or the police / fire department) that you left for work, or that your house is on fire. The basic garage door opener does not have a separate trip switch or a built in sounder – only an internal magnetic trip device and contact closure switch mounted internally. This makes it impossible to sell the unit without having to buy a separate sounder and contact closure switch. Since consumers want to be able to hear the unit so they know it is working, companies started selling separate contact closure and sounder units (see below).
