What Is a Shipping Package and How Does It Print?
A shipping package is a single transaction from one eBay order to the next eBay order. You can choose the required number of pages for each shipping package. That way, you will not need to print the entire shipping package on a continuous page.
There is an additional cost for printing shipping packages as opposed to printing packing slips only. With the default settings, all items are printed at one time, but you can click on an item or a group of items in order to export them separately. Items may be exported either as a PDF file or CSV file.
If you have purchased shipping labels, eBay will automatically fill in the required fields in the label before printing. However, if you want to use your own shipping label template, then you will need to be familiar with some of the terminology. To begin with, the document is divided into four quadrants or regions that are used for different parts of the label.

The Order Summary tab shows a list of the items in your eBay order and the dollar amount that you’ll be charged for shipping. Each line item will show the number of items in the package and the current total package shipping cost. The final amount due on this page includes any shipping discounts (if you have chosen to apply any) AND your items subtotal.
Each package, once it has been shipped, is ready to print a shipping label. Above the box that shows each individual order line item, there’s a box that says [My Shipping Info] and this is where to print your packing slip.
The packing slip is an eight-part form that you can use to print a shipping label or other postage directly from your computer.

Why Should I Use A Packaging For My Product?
The shipping package process makes it easier to print more than one packing slip in your eBay Shipping Manager. You can print a packing slip for each order that you want to include in the same shipment, or you can print only one packing slip and make changes as needed. (Note: If you want to print one packing slip that can be used for multiple shipments, use the e-Packing Slip.)
If you print a packing slip for each order, you can use the eBay shipping label software to label the package with an order number and other necessary information.
When to Print a Packing Slip
Print a packing slip if: You have multiple packages to ship in one label/shipping fee. (Note: If you are selling on eBay, you must use eBay labels).
