This is the first time I am writing a post for the plumber help forum, but so many of my friends have asked me how to take down an above ground pool I figured why not. After reading this post you will be able to set up a ramp, remove your pool and haul away your old pool in as little as 3 hours. There are a few different options for removing the pool, but I will be using this method. This was in a very small backyard where we were digging up a 6ft tall garden wall and my sister wanted to use her pool until her new fence was in place. The reason for removing the pool was so that we could make sure the new wall was straight and level in the ground then install our new fence. This will make all the difference in the world in finishing out our backyard!
We won’t be going over all of the tools, just give you a few links and where to get them.

So first you need to close and drain the pool, then remove the top rails and finally take down the steps. Depending on either your pool pump is for an in ground pool or for an above ground pool, remove all hoses from pump. Once you have done that you can store all of these in a shed or garage until next year when it is time to put up a new one.
Hopefully this helps, if not post back in this forum with any more questions.
