How to Create Great Blog Posts With Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a great tool to analyze the statistics of your blog posts. You need to have a Google account, and if it’s not already set up on your website, you will need to go into your Admin panel and select the Google Analytics option. You will then be taken to a new screen that looks like this:

In the top right corner, you will see the options of WHAT you want to track, and WHERE you want to track it. Select +ADD TRACKING CODE and copy/paste the code provided into your website source code, just before the tag.

Click on “Save Changes”. You need to have a Google Analytics account to view the results. If you don’t have one, you can create one here.

Once you are done with the tracking code, return to the previous screen and click on “Track Changes”. A new page analyzing your website will show up – now all you need is some data! (This is where my post goes into level 2 of this lecture).
The cool thing about Google Analytics is that it creates a great report for us. We can see the total number of visitors to our blog, their gender, time-of-day, etc.

I also noticed that there was a good number of female visitors to my blog (was curious why that was), and I wanted to analyze this further in order to see if they were on age or not. So let’s look at the report:

It’s also a quick way to get a sense for your blog’s focus. One of the most common questions that I’ve seen in many blogs is “What is a blog post?”. So here’s my answer! Blog posts are essentially like articles that appear on your website. They can be written with the intention of generating traffic, providing useful information, or informing readers about something new. Both short and long-form articles fall into this category. Many bloggers will conduct research to create their articles. Some topics require more research than others.

How to Use Google Analytics To Find Out What People Read On Your Website/Blog/Content Creator/Marketer’s Site? (google

If you have a blog or website then you will want to set up Google Analytics. It will show you what people are reading and how long they spend on each page. This is a great way to find out what your target customer reads. Do you want them to be more interested in the XYZ section, or do you want them to read the ABC section? It’s up to you! You can also see where most of your traffic comes from and what sites are sending you traffic.
For this article, I will explain how to install Google Analytics on your site. In a future article, I will show you how to use the analytics without having a website or blog. But for now, it’s best to have a website or blog with content so you can test out which sections work best.
How to Install Google Analytics [PAST EVENT]
First thing to do is login into your Analytics account. You can click here to sign up for a free account.
Once you’re signed in, go over to the Admin tab at the top.
Once in the Admin area, click on “System Settings”.
This is where you will edit your account settings.
